At the conference announcing the decision on 3/3, a representative from the Central Organizing Committee stated that on 27/2, the Politburo approved Nguyen Thi Tuyen's withdrawal from the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations. Concurrently, she was appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as deputy secretary of the Government Party Committee.
Nguyen Thi Tuyen assumes her new position, replacing Le Thi Thuy. Thuy was recently reassigned to serve as secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Nguyen Thi Tuyen is 55 years old and hails from Chuong My district, Hanoi. She is a member of the Party Central Committee for the 11th (alternate), 13th, and 14th terms, holding a doctorate in Party Building and a bachelor's degree in Economic Law.
Having started her career in Youth Union activities, she has many years of experience working in Hanoi. Her past roles include deputy chairwoman and secretary of Chuong My District Party Committee; secretary of Ha Tay Provincial Youth Union; deputy head of the Municipal Party Committee's Propaganda Department; president of the Hanoi Confederation of Labor; and head of the Municipal Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.
As president of the Hanoi Confederation of Labor, she directed efforts to promote dialogue, collective bargaining, member welfare, and support for struggling workers, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. From 10/2020, serving as head of the Mass Mobilization Department and later as deputy secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, she oversaw mass mobilization work, Party building, pandemic prevention, socio-economic recovery, and stabilization of people's lives. From 6/2024 to 7/2024, she was tasked with managing the Hanoi Party Committee before the position of Party Committee secretary was finalized.
In 11/2024, she was elected president of the Vietnam Women's Union, serving in this capacity for 15 months. During her tenure, she promoted programs to build "new era Vietnamese women," implemented the national Ao Dai Week, enhanced support for vulnerable women and children, and participated in policy critique related to gender equality and family.
At the 14th National Party Congress in 1, Nguyen Thi Tuyen was re-elected as a member of the Party Central Committee. She is currently a candidate for the 16th National Assembly in Hanoi.
