A communique from the 14th Party Congress's fourth working day stated that the Congress dedicated the entire day to discussing and implementing personnel matters for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee. General Secretary To Lam, Chairman of the Presidium, presided over the session.
Following extensive discussions, the Congress formally voted to approve a total of 200 members for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee: 180 official members and 20 alternate members.
Le Minh Hung, a Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the 13th Party Central Executive Committee's report on personnel matters for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee on behalf of the Presidium.

Delegates to the Congress worked within their respective delegations to review and discuss the personnel report for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee, including candidacies, nominations, and personnel dossiers.
The Presidium received reports from the heads of delegations regarding the outcomes of their discussions on the 14th Party Central Executive Committee's personnel report, including nominations and requests to withdraw from the list of candidates.
The Presidium subsequently reported to the Congress and put the election list for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee to a vote. A Counting Committee was elected, which then provided guidance for the voting process.
Later that afternoon, the Congress proceeded with casting ballots, announcing the results, and approving the list of elected members for the 14th Party Central Executive Committee.
Tomorrow, the 14th Party Central Executive Committee will hold its first conference. The 14th Party Congress will convene its closing session on the afternoon of the same day.
