The exhibition space, approximately 1,200 m2 on the 4th floor, utilizes 3D mapping projection technology. Green hues and a lighting system highlight key areas, helping viewers visualize the Capital's development direction. |
The plan, approved by the People's Committee of Hanoi on 13/5, applies to the entire administrative area of 3,359 km2. According to the orientation, the Capital's population is projected to reach 14-15 million by 2035 and 17-19 million by 2065. Under the Hanoi Capital master plan with a 100-year vision, modern urban areas will be developed along both banks of the Red River.
Many residents visited the Hanoi Museum to consult the plan and understand the development direction for their residential areas according to the newly approved project.
According to the plan, for the 2026-2035 period, Hanoi aims for an average annual GRDP growth exceeding 11%, with the economy reaching approximately 200 billion USD by 2035 and 640 billion USD by 2045. With a 100-year vision, the Capital strives to become a global city that is "Civilized - Smart - Creative - Ecological," ranking among the world's capitals with the highest quality of life and happiness.

Residents can compare current and future plans on both old and new models. |
"Knowing the Hanoi Museum was exhibiting the Capital's master plan, I came to see it and learn about my residential area. However, the model only shows the overall plan, so I haven't been able to determine how my specific living area will change," said Kieu Huy Truong, from Thach That.
