Viettel Enterprise Solutions (Viettel Solutions) announced it was recently tasked by the Ministry of National Defense and the National Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of Unidentified Martyr Remains (515) with developing software to facilitate the search and collection of martyr remains.
Specifically, this initiative includes three key software platforms: one designed to receive information on documents, relics, and artifacts of martyrs provided by foreign organizations and individuals; another for gathering information about martyrs and their graves from domestic organizations and individuals; and a third for managing comprehensive information on martyrs and their graves.
These platforms are designed with an open architecture, enabling them to receive data from various sources. This includes contributions from the public, veterans, historical witnesses, martyr relatives, and both domestic and international organizations, creating a broad network of information.
The platforms are intended to serve as a crucial data source, helping to link fragmented information and uncover new leads. This will significantly aid in the ongoing efforts to search for, collect, and verify martyr information, making the process more efficient and comprehensive.
With these software solutions in operation, Viettel Solutions expects to establish a complete digital ecosystem for the search, collection, and identification of martyr remains. These systems aim to digitize data, standardize operational procedures, connect information from diverse sources, and support the national campaign's direction and management.

To date, hundreds of accounts have been issued and thousands of data points have been updated onto the system. This progress has been instrumental in forming a centralized database to support the campaign.
In addition to the three software platforms, Viettel Solutions announced the completion and deployment of the "Martyr Remains Sample Information Management" software on Viettel Cloud infrastructure. This system meticulously records the entire sampling process: from the current state of cemeteries and graves, through excavation activities, to the specific characteristics of graves and martyr remains, and finally, the sampling and handover procedures.
Information within the system is stored in multiple formats, including operational data, images, videos, and related documents, all linked to individual sample files. This structured organization ensures that data is managed completely, accurately, and consistently, providing a robust foundation for subsequent verification, cross-referencing, and identification steps.
Viettel Solutions has also collaborated on deploying technology infrastructure and organizing training for Viettel personnel across 34 provinces and cities. This trained force actively supports local Steering Committees 515 in digitizing sampling records and facilitating the handover of martyr remains samples.
The "500-day and night campaign to intensify the search, collection, and identification of martyr remains" is scheduled from 15/3 to 27/7/2027, leading up to the 80th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day. Beyond the objective of finding approximately 7,000 martyr remains, the campaign also aims to collect samples from about 230,000 unidentified martyr graves and conduct DNA testing on approximately 18,000 martyr remains samples.
