Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet expressway rest stop opens 26/1

A four-star rest stop on the Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet expressway, located in Ham Thuan Bac commune (formerly Binh Thuan province), will open tomorrow to serve drivers and visitors during the Tet holiday.

On 25/1, Pham Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Construction), stated that the rest stop has completed many main components, including restrooms, parking lots, expressway access roads, service areas, and a gas station.

While the gas station and electric vehicle charging area are largely complete, they are awaiting the finalization of licensing procedures to commence operation before Tet. The remaining components are being fast-tracked for an anticipated completion in 4/2026.

The rest stop system represents a total investment exceeding 310 billion VND. It comprises hai opposing stations (one on the right and one on the left side of the expressway), each spanning approximately 5 hectares. The project is being carried out by a consortium including Thanh Thanh Nam, Chau Thanh, Viet Han, Sai Gon Investment, and Thanh Thanh Cong Lam Dong.

It has been operational since 2023. Another rest stop project is currently underway in Vinh Hao commune along the route.
