Warehouse fire destroys Ford Ranger

A fire erupted in a residential area, accompanied by loud explosions, destroying a Ford Ranger and creating a column of black smoke that covered the entire neighborhood.

Around 2:30 PM on 2/4, a fire broke out at a storage warehouse on Hoang Thi Loan street in Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang. According to witnesses, after several loud explosions, flames quickly engulfed the entire warehouse, creating a dense column of black smoke.

From the Hue intersection overpass, nearly 1 km from the scene, residents could clearly see a large smoke column covering a section of the residential area near Bo De Pagoda. A resident living next to the site reported hearing a loud explosion while inside their home. Upon rushing out, they witnessed fierce flames and black smoke billowing, causing many to panic and evacuate the area.

At the scene, a Ford Ranger pickup truck parked inside the warehouse was engulfed in flames and largely destroyed.

Upon receiving the report, the firefighting and rescue police force deployed numerous specialized vehicles along with dozens of officers to the scene. They established multiple access points, sprayed water to extinguish the blaze, and prevented it from spreading to adjacent homes.

By after 3:00 PM on the same day, the fire was largely brought under control. Due to the presence of many flammable materials inside the warehouse, authorities continued to spray water to cool the area and manage embers to prevent any reignition.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
