The VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026, taking place on 9/8, announced its prize structure, combining cash and in-kind gifts from PUMA, Sunsanest, 584, Zoseo, and Toshiba. The structure is divided into two categories: overall awards and age group awards, catering to both professional athletes and amateur runners.

For the full marathon (42km) distance, the male and female champions will each receive 15 million VND in cash, along with PUMA Deviate NITRO 4 running shoes, a box of Sunsanest bottled bird's nest, 584 fish sauce, a Zoseo apparel set, and a Toshiba TWP-IW2469SVN(W) water purifier and ice maker. The total prize value for each winner is nearly 20 million VND.

Second and third place finishers will receive 12 million VND and 9 million VND in cash, respectively, along with similar in-kind gifts and a Toshiba water purifier. The remaining two positions in the top 5 will receive 7,5 million VND and 6 million VND in cash, respectively, accompanied by gift sets from partners.

For the 21km distance, organizers will award the top three overall male and female finishers. The champion will receive 8 million VND in cash, with the total prize package valued at nearly 13 million VND. Second and third place finishers will receive 6,5 million VND and 5 million VND, respectively, along with a complete set of sponsored gifts.

In the two shorter distances, awards will be given to the top three runners in each category. The 10km champion will receive 3 million VND, while second and third place finishers will receive 2,5 million VND and 2 million VND, respectively. For the 5km race, the top three finishers will receive 2,5 million VND, 2 million VND, and 1,5 million VND, respectively. All runners who place in these two distances will also receive PUMA shoes, bottled bird's nest, fish sauce, and sports apparel.

Age group awards apply to the 21km and 42km distances, divided into five age categories: 30 and under, 31–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over. For the 42km distance, age groups under 50 will receive cash prizes ranging from 2 million to 5 million VND for the top 5 finishers. Age groups 50 and over will receive cash prizes from 3 million to 5 million VND for the top 3, with fourth and fifth place finishers receiving in-kind gifts. Now in its fifth season, the VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026 expects 10,000 athletes, cementing its reputation as one of Central Vietnam's largest sporting events. Since 2022, the race has become a familiar gathering for both domestic and international running communities. On the morning of 9/8, the event will take place at 2-4 Square, with the 42km distance starting first at 3h.
