Three schools renovated from old headquarters and two newly constructed schools will accommodate nearly 3,400 10th-grade students in Ho Chi Minh City this year.
All 89 private high schools consider academic transcripts for 10th-grade admission, with over half also utilizing scores from the department of education’s exams.
The number of students taking the 10th-grade exam increased by over 43,000 compared to last year; the Department of Education anticipates approximately 70% will pass, leaving nearly 51,000 students to seek alternative options.
