Phan Quang Dai, Chief Executive Officer of Blue Lemon Vietnam Limited Liability Company (LLC), announced today that an Indian billionaire family will host a "super wedding" from 9-13/12. The grand event will take place across various resorts on Hon Tre island, situated in Nha Trang Bay.
The lavish celebration is expected to welcome approximately 1,400 guests from India and numerous countries worldwide. To ensure a seamless experience, over 600 personnel are anticipated to be mobilized for the wedding's services.
"The estimated cost for this wedding is over 130 billion dong, making it the largest Indian wedding ever held in Vietnam", Mr. Dai stated. He added that the elaborate program is a collaborative effort involving three entities: his company, a Turkish-based company, and an Indian wedding planning and management firm.

Guests will immerse themselves in a series of programs meticulously designed to reflect Indian culture. These include traditional ceremonies, the wedding reception, entertainment shows, diverse culinary experiences, music, and various engaging activities within the resort. Additionally, a special welcoming ceremony for the bride and groom's families will be organized at Cam Ranh International Airport.
According to Mr. Dai, the wedding is structured as a "destination wedding" model. This approach allows international guests to enjoy a relaxing resort stay and experience various activities in Nha Trang throughout the event's duration.
The event is expected to create a new benchmark for destination weddings in Vietnam. It aims to significantly promote the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to high-end clients in India and the broader international market.
Thai Thi Le Hang, Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, affirmed the provincial tourism sector's commitment. Her department will coordinate with organizers to conduct relevant meetings, review plans, and address all requirements from the Indian side, ensuring the wedding's success.
This upcoming event is not the first instance of India's ultra-rich choosing Vietnam for large-scale nuptial celebrations. In 12/2025, a billionaire family rented an entire resort in Phu Quoc for seven days, hosting over 1,130 guests. More recently, in early 2/2026, Ha Long was the venue for three consecutive billionaire weddings.
India stands among the top 10 source markets for visitors to Vietnam, contributing nearly 340,000 arrivals in the first six months of this year. Khanh Hoa considers India a key market in its tourism development strategy.
