The Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) has released additional images of its first MPV, the Luxeed V9, jointly developed by Chery and Huawei. This new vehicle will feature head-protection airbags, Huawei's Qiankun advanced autonomous driving system, the HarmonyOS control system, and a range-extended system.
The Luxeed V9 is expected to launch in the first quarter of this year with a price range of 400,000-500,000 yuan (USD 57,400-71,700). It targets the premium market segment, appealing to families and business professionals, and will compete with models such as the Li Auto Mega, Zeekr 009, and Voyah Dreamer.

The vehicle's front end adopts Luxeed's signature enclosed design language, featuring headlights similar to the Luxeed R7. A chrome trim strip sits below a continuous LED light bar, with a grille positioned at the bottom. The taillights span the entire width of the vehicle and incorporate blue lights to signal when the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) is active.
All versions of the Luxeed V9 come equipped with electric sliding doors and a 2+2+3 seating configuration. The interior also boasts two independent zero-gravity seats with leg rests and 180-degree swivel capability, three seamless screens, a roof-mounted entertainment display, an oxygen generator, a refrigerator, and the industry's first "helmet airbag." In the event of a collision, the seats automatically retract to a safer position, and the helmet airbag deploys alongside the side airbags.
In terms of dimensions, the Luxeed V9 measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,879 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm.

Power for the Luxeed V9 comes from Huawei's Snow Owl Intelligent Silent Range Extension System. This system uses a 1.5T engine as a range extender and two electric motors, combined with a 37.017 kWh LFP battery and a 53.352 kWh ternary lithium battery from CATL. The engine produces 154 horsepower. The total battery weights are 290 kg and 302 kg, respectively.
The Luxeed V9 offers three pure electric driving ranges: 158 km, 223 km, and 210 km (under WLTC conditions). Its combined operating range is 1,200 km.
Luxeed, a collaborative brand between Huawei and Chery, launched in 2023 as part of the HIMA alliance. The brand's current lineup includes two models with both BEV and EREV powertrain options: the S7 sedan and the R7 SUV. According to China EV DataTracker, Luxeed delivered 81,391 units in the first 11 months of 2025. In 2026, the V9 MPV is set to become a new flagship model for the brand.
