Starting in august, individual customers using VETC or ePass wallets will incur a monthly fee of 6,600 VND, amounting to 79,200 VND annually. For businesses, this fee is 66,000 VND.
Notably, ePass confirmed that this transaction processing fee is applied only to accounts that had vehicle transactions through a toll booth in the preceding month. If no vehicle linked to an account passes through a toll booth during a month, the customer will not be charged this fee in the subsequent billing cycle.

According to ePass, the monthly fee is 6,600 VND for individual customers and 66,000 VND for businesses. This charge is levied per account, not based on the number of registered vehicles. A single account can manage multiple vehicles without the fee increasing automatically with the number of cars. For instance, if an account manages three vehicles but none pass through a toll booth in a given month, the customer will not incur a transaction processing fee in the next billing period. Conversely, if an account records a toll transaction, the corresponding fee applies, irrespective of the number of vehicles registered under that account.
Beyond Viettel Money, ePass offers customers various other payment methods, each with its own fee structure: linking ePass with Vi MoMo incurs a fee of 1% of each transaction's value, with a minimum of 1,100 VND; Visa or Mastercard payments are charged 2,200 VND plus 1,902% of the transaction value, with a minimum of 3,000 VND; and linking a bank account for automatic debit carries a fee of 1,000-3,000 VND per transaction.
