Travel Fest is a program implemented by VNPAY on banking apps, aiming to bring more offers to customers booking flight tickets on banking apps and VNPAY. Users who enter the code FLYFEST will receive a 50% discount, up to 888,000 VND, available daily at 12 PM with a limited quantity.

From 17/8 to 31/8, new customers can use the code DOCLAP, receiving a 29% discount, up to 500,000 VND, during the Flash Sale slot at 12 AM. The program also features codes for different journey types. FLY100 offers a 100,000 VND discount for domestic flight tickets with transactions from 4,000,000 VND, while FLY200 offers a 200,000 VND discount for international flight tickets with transactions from 5,000,000 VND.

Users simply select the flight booking feature, search for a flight, and enter the code at the payment step to have it deducted directly from the ticket price according to the program's conditions.

The "all-in-one" trend is increasingly evident on banking apps, as many needs, from financial to consumer, are integrated on a single platform. Besides money transfers, savings deposits, or bill payments, users can book flight tickets, shop, and use many daily life services directly on their familiar apps.

On many banking apps, the entire booking process, from searching for itineraries, selecting flights, entering passenger information, to payment, can be completed on the same platform. The service supports both domestic and international flights, catering to needs for travel, business trips, returning home, or visiting relatives.

This utility demonstrates its advantage during periods of increased travel demand. In late summer and early autumn, alongside domestic destinations like Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, or Da Lat, many tourists also begin planning trips to South Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan to experience the autumn season.

Ms. Minh Anh, living in Hanoi, stated that she often books flight tickets on banking apps for business and leisure trips. With plans to visit South Korea with friends this autumn, she continues to choose this method because she can search for flights, book tickets, and pay on the same platform.

"I usually book tickets directly on the banking app because the steps are quite seamless. This trip coincides with a promotion, so I waited for the code entry timeframe to save more costs for the entire group," she said.

According to a VNPAY representative, utilities like flight booking help banks increase interaction frequency with customers beyond regular financial transactions. As travel, shopping, or payment needs become more deeply connected to the digital ecosystem, banking apps gain more room to expand services and build a more engaging experience with users.
