Ha Tinh addresses 135 individuals interacting with Le Trung Khoa, Nguyen Van Dai accounts

One hundred thirty-five individuals have been identified since 2020 for interacting with and commenting on negative content across online platforms associated with Le Trung Khoa, Nguyen Van Dai, and thoibao.de.

The Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police announced on 28/6 that 135 online accounts had engaged in interactions and comments containing negative and distorted content on the platforms "Le Trung Khoa", "Nguyen Van Dai", and "thoibao.de" since 2020.

Between 10/5 and 20/6, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, in coordination with professional units and local police in communes and wards, simultaneously conducted verifications, invited these individuals for discussions, and provided education.

According to the police, investigations revealed that most of the individuals admitted to interacting with and commenting on distorted and false information. They acknowledged not fully understanding the true nature, schemes, and tactics behind the content, thereby inadvertently contributing to the spread of "bad and toxic" information.

The individuals involved removed the violating comments and content, left "reactionary" groups and online pages, and signed commitments to prevent future offenses.

Ha Tinh police are continuing to verify and consolidate files for 50 other individuals.

Previously, on 31/12/2025, the Hanoi People's Court tried in absentia and sentenced two defendants, Nguyen Van Dai (56 years old, from Hung Yen province) and Le Trung Khoa (54 years old, from Thanh Hoa province), each to 17 years in prison. They were convicted of "making, possessing, spreading, or propagating information and documents to oppose the Socialist Republic of Vietnam State," under clause 2, Article 117 of the Penal Code.

In the same case as Le Trung Khoa, Do Van Nga (47 years old, from Gia Lai province) received a 7-year prison sentence; Huynh Bao Duc (41 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City) received 6 years 6 months in prison; and Pham Quang Thien (47 years old) received 5 years 6 months in prison for the same offense.
