Extended heatwaves mean many families keep their air conditioning running almost all day to maintain a stable, cool environment for living, working, and resting. However, for prolonged periods in enclosed rooms, user needs extend beyond just "enough cooling" to long-term comfort. Limited air circulation can lead to stuffy odors, a suffocating feeling, or dry skin due to continuous cold air circulation in a sealed space. Consequently, indoor air quality is becoming a parallel concern with cooling capability when choosing an air conditioner.
To address this demand, Toshiba introduces the P2 series standard inverter air conditioner, featuring models RAS-H10P2KCVG-V (1.0HP), RAS-H13P2KCVG-V (1.5HP), along with 2.0HP and 2.5HP capacities. This product line aims to enhance the experience in the popular segment, focusing on maintaining air quality and user convenience.
According to a company representative, the P2 series integrates internet connectivity, allowing users to control it remotely via the TSmartLife application on their phones. Users can turn on the air conditioner before returning home or turn it off remotely. This feature helps the space quickly reach a comfortable temperature and maintain it stably for extended periods, reducing the feeling of stuffiness upon entering the room or sudden temperature changes that can cause discomfort.

The application also supports setting a temperature curve for sleep. Body temperature gradually decreases at night, so maintaining a fixed cool level can lead to dry skin and feeling cold towards early morning, resulting in sore throats or rhinitis. When set according to a schedule, the machine automatically adjusts the temperature and fan speed throughout 8 hours, contributing to an appropriate temperature for each sleep stage for a deeper, better sleep.
Since its launch, the product has received positive feedback from users. Thu Ha (TP HCM), who often returns home late, finds the remote control feature a daily habit. About 15 minutes before leaving the office, she turns on the air conditioner using her phone so the room reaches a stable temperature by the time she arrives home. According to her, not having to step into an overly hot space and then rapidly cool it helps the body adapt more easily, while the room's air maintains a comfortable feeling from the start. When using it all night, she also prioritizes setting the temperature according to a schedule to reduce the incidence of sore throats and rhinitis the next morning.
With a new family member, Thanh Mai (Gia Dinh ward, TP HCM) pays more attention to the bedroom temperature at night. She notes that young children easily wake up when the temperature drops significantly towards morning, especially on days when the air conditioner runs continuously. After setting the temperature adjustment mode according to the temperature curve, she observed that the room maintained a mildly cool level in the early morning, without the sensation of sudden cold. "Previously, I often had to wake up in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature, but now the machine adjusts itself, so both mother and baby sleep more continuously", she shared.
Beyond cooling, Mai also considers air quality when using air conditioning for extended periods in enclosed rooms. According to her, if the air is not kept clean and well-ventilated, the room can easily feel stuffy or dry after many hours of continuous air conditioning operation. After a period of use, she noticed the airflow in the room was more pleasant. Magic Coil technology simultaneously prevents dust from accumulating on the heat exchanger, contributing to stable airflow and reducing odor issues during long-term use.
The P2 series air conditioner is equipped with Ultra Pure air filtration technology to help reduce dust and irritants in enclosed spaces. When cleaner airflow is maintained throughout operation, the room also feels more comfortable and well-ventilated, even with the air conditioner running for many continuous hours.

Combined with Magic Coil technology, which prevents dust from accumulating on the heat exchanger, the system contributes to maintaining clean airflow and reducing odor issues over time. For families with young children, Mai believes that stable air quality helps everyone feel more comfortable when in an air-conditioned room for extended periods, especially at night or during prolonged heatwaves.
Alongside comfort, energy efficiency remains a focus. All Toshiba air conditioner models meet the new 5-star energy standard according to TCVN 7830:2021 from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Additionally, when Eco Mode is activated, the system automatically reduces power during times when strong cooling is not needed, maintaining comfort while optimizing electricity costs.
In terms of design, the product maintains a minimalist style with clean lines, suitable for various interior spaces. Its quiet operation makes the device ideal for bedrooms or work areas requiring quiet. When stable operation and air purification technology are combined, the living experience in an air-conditioned room is significantly improved.
A Toshiba Lifestyle Vietnam representative stated that users are currently more interested in health-related factors when choosing home appliances. Air conditioners are not just cooling devices but also contribute to creating a comfortable living environment for extended periods. With the standard Toshiba Inverter - P2 series air conditioner, the company aims to bring comprehensive air conditioning solutions, enhancing personal experiences closer to the mass market segment.
