A 40-year-old male driver in Hanoi was fined 4 million VND and had two points deducted from his driver's license after being caught carrying two people in his car's open trunk on Nhat Tan Bridge. The incident, which occurred at approximately 9:25 on 14/3, posed a significant safety risk.

A fellow road user captured images of the car with its open trunk and individuals inside the luggage compartment, then reported the footage to the Traffic Police Department.

Responding to directives from the Traffic Police Department, the Hanoi Police Traffic Police Department quickly verified the information. Authorities then initiated an investigation into the dangerous act of transporting passengers in the trunk with the rear lid open.

During questioning by officials, the driver admitted to the violation. Consequently, the Hanoi Police Traffic Police Department issued a citation, imposing a 4 million VND fine and deducting two points from his driver's license.
