The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Bung Binh road. A dump truck, bearing a Dong Nai license plate, was traveling towards Thien Tan in Trang Dai ward when it collided with a 4-seater car.

The powerful impact sent the car into a 4-meter-deep ditch on the left side of the road, with the dump truck subsequently overturning on top of it.

Local residents and the dump truck driver immediately attempted to rescue the trapped occupant, but their efforts were unsuccessful. After 30 minutes, emergency services arrived with two rescue vehicles. They successfully extricated the female driver, who was then transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The Bung Binh road, a stretch of approximately 4 kilometers, is known for its proximity to the Thien Tan stone quarries. This location means the road is regularly traversed by numerous dump trucks transporting stone, contributing to frequent heavy traffic.
