Embankment collapse in Dak Lak kills four

An embankment in Lac My village, Son Thanh commune (formerly Phu Yen), collapsed, resulting in four deaths on the morning of 2/1.

Around 9:30 AM, Bui Xuan Van, 64, along with his wife and two others, were planting acacia trees in Lac My village, Son Thanh commune. It was raining at the time, and all four sought shelter under a concrete slab of the embankment, described as a burrow-like structure. The slab then collapsed, trapping and killing all four individuals.
