Fans erupt in joy as Vietnam leads South Korea 2-1

Hundreds of fans on Nguyen Hue Walking Street erupted in celebration as Vietnam took a 2-1 lead in the 3rd place playoff against U23 South Korea.

The atmosphere on Nguyen Hue Walking Street in TP HCM was electric as fans erupted in cheers, celebrating the Vietnam team's 2-1 lead over South Korea.

The pivotal moment came in the 71st minute when Dinh Bac scored brilliantly. From a free kick approximately 20 m from the goal, he unleashed a low shot. The ball bounced off the ground, heading towards the far corner, ultimately beating goalkeeper Hwang Jaeyun. This marked Dinh Bac's 4th goal in the U23 Asian Championship finals.

Domestic and international fans cheered together to celebrate Dinh Bac's goal.

Fans celebrated Quoc Viet's goal in the 30th minute, which gave the Vietnam team a 1-0 lead over South Korea.

Foreign fans continuously stirred up support for the Vietnam team.

Fans held their heads in regret when in the 68th minute, South Korea equalized 1-1.

Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters had gathered on the walking street on the evening of 23/1. To accommodate the large turnout, TP HCM had previously installed six LED screens, 7 m high and 12 m wide, to broadcast the matches from the semifinals through to the final.
