The Government has decided to increase the base salary from 2,34 million dong to 2,53 million dong, effective 1/7. This adjustment will impact the salaries and allowances of public officials, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces personnel.
Civil servant incomes will rise according to their salary grade and coefficient, calculated by multiplying the base salary by the salary coefficient. Specifically, high-level positions such as architect engineers, senior researchers, senior engineers, senior certifiers, senior assessors, senior forecasters, senior professors - lecturers, senior doctors, senior pharmacists, senior editors - screenwriters - translators, senior directors, class I actors, senior artists, and senior coaches (A3.1) will receive monthly salaries ranging from 15,7 million dong to 20,2 million dong, excluding allowances.
This represents an increase of 1,2 million dong to 1,5 million dong compared to current levels. This group of public employees will receive the highest salaries under the new base salary structure.
