At 7:30 am, monks unveiled the embroidered silk tapestry depicting the Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteshvara Buddha. This sacred Thongdrol tapestry is displayed only during significant Himalayan Buddhist ceremonies.
Local residents believe that venerating the Thongdrol, along with performing spiritual rituals, brings peaceful energy, helps resolve obstacles, and guides them toward a peaceful, prosperous life.
His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa bestowed the Thongdrol in Vietnam. It measures 12x16 meters and weighs about 100 kg. Currently, it stands as the largest Buddha tapestry in Vietnam, unveiled during each dharma assembly.
His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa observed performances at the East Gate. The 12th Gyalwang Drukpa has been connected with Vietnam for nearly two decades, returning for the 13th time precisely during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day. He was born in 1963 into a noble family of Vajrayana practitioners.

Thousands of tourists, monks, nuns, and Buddhists attended the ceremony, presided over by the Drukpa Lineage monastic community. Many used paper and pens to record points from His Holiness's dharma talk.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Tinh, 88 years old, has been familiar with Vajrayana Buddhism for about 30 years. She woke up at 4:00 am today to travel from Ha Noi to attend the dharma assembly. "I pray not only for health and peace for my family but also for all sentient beings," she said.
At 9:30 am, His Holiness unveiled the calligraphy scroll, 200 meters long, 72 cm wide, and weighing 28 kg, inscribed on Himalayan 'do' paper. Here, he left his handprint and signature. The calligraphy, written in Tibetan, is a prayer for peace and widespread healing for humanity, composed by Gyalwang Drukpa. It comprises three profound layers of vows: praying for world peace, praying for national prosperity and people's well-being, and praying for the peace of all beings.

Mandala Tay Thien is a Vajrayana architectural complex with a distinctive Himalayan Buddhist imprint. Each structure carries unique symbolism, and the overall design connects to form a giant mandala, visually representing the "Five Great Elements, Five Wisdoms" doctrine of Vajrayana Buddhism.
The Great Compassion Avalokiteshvara dharma assembly took place over three days, 25-27/4. This year, the three-day assembly coincided with the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day.
