Over 2,1 million new cars and motorcycles registered in first half of year

New vehicle registrations in the first six months of 2026 saw explosive growth compared to the same period in 2025 across both car and motorcycle segments.

According to data from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) under the Ministry of Public Security, over 369,210 new cars were registered nationwide during the first six months of this year, an increase from 265,000 units in the first half of 2025.
