On the afternoon of 13/4, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary and President To Lam chaired a conference to present the Politburo's decisions on personnel appointments for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission; the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee; and several other central party committees.
The Standing Board of the Central Military Commission for the 2025-2030 term comprises 9 people. General Secretary and President To Lam continues as Secretary of the Central Military Commission. General Phan Van Giang, a Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of National Defense, continues as Deputy Secretary.
The Standing Board of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term comprises 11 people. General Luong Tam Quang, a Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, continues as Secretary. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, a Party Central Committee member and Deputy Minister of Public Security, serves as Deputy Secretary.
The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies for the 2025-2030 term comprises 22 people. Tran Cam Tu, a Politburo member and Standing Member of the Secretariat, continues as Secretary. Nguyen Long Hai, a Party Central Committee member, continues as Standing Deputy Secretary. The three Deputy Secretaries are Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Do Viet Ha, and Nguyen Quang Truong.
The Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations for the 2025-2030 term comprises 14 people. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, a Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, continues as Secretary. Nguyen Phi Long, a Party Central Committee member, continues as Standing Deputy Secretary. The Deputy Secretaries are Nguyen Thai Hoc and Ngo Van Cuong.

Speaking at the conference, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that presenting these decisions demonstrates the Party's trust in and assignment of important tasks to the collective bodies and individuals appointed to key areas.
General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that the party committees serve as strategic advisors to the Central Committee on party building, organizational structure, personnel work, and major orientations for the political system. They are also responsible for protecting independence, sovereignty, maintaining national defense and security, and preventing the country from being caught off guard.
He called for each official to be exemplary, to match words with actions, to act decisively, and to improve the quality of advice, leadership, and direction. They must ensure adherence to principles, practical relevance, and clear accountability.
General Secretary and President To Lam urged focus on developing the cadre force, ensuring objective evaluations and correct placement of personnel. He called for resolute action against localism, group interests, evasion, and shirking of responsibility, while also protecting and encouraging officials who dare to think, act, and take responsibility.
On behalf of the party committees receiving the decisions, General Phan Van Giang affirmed a clear understanding of their positions, roles, functions, and duties. He pledged to uphold principles, promote democracy, and leverage collective intelligence.
He stated that they would continue to build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern People's Army and People's Public Security force. They would also enhance the strategic advisory capacity of central Party agencies and promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political-social organizations in strengthening national unity.
