High-altitude fireworks display set for Eo Gio, Quy Nhon

A high-altitude artistic fireworks display will be held for the first time at the Eo Gio ecological tourist area, Quy Nhon Dong ward, on the evening of 11/7.

The event is part of the "Eo Gio - Blue Ocean Dance" art program. A large outdoor stage will be set up along the coast, featuring sound, lighting, and diverse artistic performances. The high-altitude artistic fireworks display is expected to last approximately 15 minutes after the grand concert concludes.

According to the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Eo Gio is a famous tourism symbol in Quy Nhon. The event held here is expected to be a prominent highlight this summer, catering to the entertainment needs of thousands of weekend tourists.

This program is part of a series of activities responding to National Tourism Year 2026, organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee with the accompaniment of FLC Group.

Eo Gio, located on the Phuong Mai peninsula, is about 20 km northeast of Quy Nhon center and is an iconic tourist destination of Gia Lai. Tourism experts consider the area relatively pristine. Investments here include a welcome gate, observation deck, and a coastal walking path.

This is an ideal location for visitors to admire panoramic sea views, unique rock formations, catch the sunrise, or enjoy the sunset.

In late January, Quy Nhon was honored for the third time as a "Clean Tourism City" at the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) held in Cebu, Philippines, affirming Gia Lai's tourism position on the regional tourism map.

According to the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first five months of 2026, the province welcomed nearly 7 million visitors, an increase of 16,5% compared to the same period last year. Total tourism revenue reached 15.200 billion VND, an increase of 19%.
