Diverse experiences in the North
On 2/9, Sa Pa (Lao Cai) welcomes visitors with its characteristic cool autumn atmosphere. Fansipan peak draws attention as Muong Hoa valley enters the ripe rice season, dotted with firecracker flowers and gladiolus at an altitude of 3,000 m. A highlight of the journey to conquer the peak is the flag-raising ceremony, held at various times during the holiday. Additionally, organizers are launching the Brocade Festival at Ban May from 22/8 to 6/9. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about linen weaving, brocade embroidery, and directly participate in cultural activities and folk games of the Mong, Dao Do, Thai, and Xa Pho ethnic communities.

Heading to the coast, Ha Long (Quang Ninh) offers a series of activities stretching from day to night. The Lighthouse area attracts young people with its panoramic views of the bay. In the evening, visitors can enjoy the 3D mapping technology show "Prosperous Trading Port" combined with fireworks at Bai Chay, or explore hundreds of food stalls at the VUI-Fest night market.
This holiday, Thanh Hoa will also host fireworks on the evening of 1/9 at Lam Son Square and Sam Son Beach Square. Closer to Hanoi, the water park and sports park complex in Ninh Binh is preparing a series of events, along with a water music show and high-altitude fireworks, held at 9:30 PM every Saturday, extending until the end of the National Day holiday.

In the Central region, Ba Na Hills (Da Nang) continues to be a key destination. To celebrate National Day, the tourist area is adorned with hundreds of national flags along Golden Bridge and the French Village area, accompanied by traditional music. Beyond photo opportunities, visitors can fully experience a diverse entertainment ecosystem with international street shows, the indoor Fantasy Park, a 40 km/h speed slide, and an interactive light art space.

Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh) will be covered in red flags with yellow stars from base to peak during the holiday. On the morning of 2/9, the management board will organize a solemn flag-raising ceremony at the central square. This destination also impresses with a spiritual pottery exhibition featuring hundreds of works and the Leaf Market, held on National Day. At the cashless market, visitors can enjoy free subsidy-era dishes and learn about the mountain's history.
For tourists preferring to travel near TP HCM, Vung Tau offers a modern party atmosphere. As dusk falls, the water park system here transforms into a festival hub with pool parties, DJ performances, beachfront BBQ parties, and fireworks every weekend.

Further afield, Phu Quoc island maintains its appeal during the long holiday. Visitors can swim at Khem Beach, stroll through Vui Phet night market, or watch the sunset by Kiss Bridge. Notably, Sunset Town hosts two multimedia shows combined with fireworks every evening. Visitors also often spend a day exploring the Aquatopia water park complex on Hon Thom island and enjoying coastal cuisine.
