"Yes, president Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to join the Gaza peace council through diplomatic channels", Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference in Moscow today.
According to Peskov, Russia is carefully studying all details of the proposal to establish the Gaza peace council and hopes to establish contact with the United States to clarify all aspects.
A spokesperson for Kazakhstan's president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also announced on 19/1 that Tokayev will join the Gaza peace council after receiving an invitation, expressing a desire to contribute to establishing stable peace in the Middle East.
