Trump announces blockade of Strait of Hormuz

President Trump announced that the US navy would blockade the Strait of Hormuz, following the conclusion of negotiations between Washington and Tehran without an agreement.

"The US navy, the world's most elite naval force, will begin blockading and preventing all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. The decision is effective immediately," President Donald Trump wrote on social media today.
